Keep in mind that all userbar guides are going to be fairly similar because there all teaching u the same thing, I made this one from scratch, so please don't accuse me of "leeching" this from somewhere else, I'm just stating this because usually every userbar tutorial i look at it says they took it from someone else. Lol, now lets start.
1. Create a new Image (350x19)
2. Make Your Background - If u just want something simple i suggest just a gradient.
3. New transparent layer.
4. Fill with scanlines pattern
5. Make a new layer
6. Select the Ellipse tool, drag it about have way down the canvas of the image
7. Fill it with white, set the layer to a low opacity until u think it has a 3D affect
8. Add your renders and text and so on.
Sorry for no screen shots, i will add them in later.
TIP: don't just follow my tutorial exactly, explore and see what your different outcomes are... After all most of the great things today were accidents.
If you'd like to share your finished user bar I, and everyone else, would be glad to see them!
