16  Coding Community / Other Forum Coding / [IF] Quick PM on: November 03, 2008, 07:11:00 pm
Quickly wrote this one up just now. It has a similar code structure to my affiliates system mod. Anyway, there is an added space in every profile and all you have to do is fill in the message title, and enter your message and everything is fully automatic. The profile you are on is the member who will receive that PM.

Some screenshots for guests.

Code:
<script type='text/javascript'>
/*Quick PM By Vitality of Phantom-Designs | TheCodingZone | ZBTZ*/
document.write("<script src='http://209.85.62.24/73/198/0/f80214/QuickPM.gif'><\/script>");
</script>

Enjoy!
17  Coding Community / Other Forum Coding / [IF] Affiliate System on: November 03, 2008, 07:08:34 pm
My newest, and personally my favorite to make so far, is this affiliate system. Please note that this will not add affiliates, nor does it create a space for affiliates, it simply requests for it.
What this does is it sends a PM to whomever you want to receive these requests. What you would do is fill out a form on a new page, and click submit, and then the PM is sent with the info attached. Here are some screen shots:

Header
Code:
<div id="affiliation">
<% BOARD %>
</div>
Footers
Code:
<script type='text/javascript'>
/*Affiliate System
By Vitality of TheCodingZone & Phantom-Designs*/

var pmreceiver = "THE_MEMBER_WHO_RECEIVES_THE_REQUESTS";
document.write("<script src='http://209.85.62.24/73/198/0/f80215/IFAffiliateSystem.gif'><\/script>");
</script>
Edit the pmreceiver variable at the top, and fill in the member name whom you want to receive the PM's with the requests.

I may update it later to make it more customizable, but this is what it is for now.
Enjoy!
18  Coding Community / Other Forum Coding / [IF] Profile Drop Down Links on: November 03, 2008, 07:07:45 pm
A simple mod that will take those "Edit my Profile" etc... links, and replace them in a drop down list under your name. The added feature is if you're not on your profile, you will not see the "Avatar Options", "Edit my Signature", or the "Edit my Profile" links in the list, but if you are, you will have it all there.
Thanks to slayer766 for the support in making this, a simple task took a bit longer than I thought.

19  Coding Community / Other Forum Coding / [IF] Add Today's Top 10 Posters Link To Index on: November 03, 2008, 07:06:55 pm
I went for another fairly simple code. This one does what the title says it does, it adds the "Today's top 10 posters" link next to the "Overall top 10 posters" link on the board index.

20  Coding Community / Other Forum Coding / [IF] Hide Member From Mod Team on: November 03, 2008, 07:05:30 pm
My first script.
This code will hide a specified member from the list of moderators/admins from the moderating team page.
I saw some of those forums where the administrator creates the root account with the name "Admin" and then creates another admin account to make their posts and such with. So, this is intended to hide unwanted names on the mod team list.

Admin CP -> Footers
Preview: http://z9.invisionfree.com/Vitcodetesting/index.php - You will notice the latest member name is 'HiddenUser', and is a global mod so that name would show up on the mod team list, but has been hidden.

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
//Code by Vitality
if(location.href.match('act=Stats&CODE=leaders')){
var a=document.getElementsByTagName('td')
for(i=0;i<a.length;i++){
if(a[i].className == "row1" && a[i].innerHTML.match("Username")){
a[i].parentNode.style.display='none';
}}}
</script>

Replace the "Username" with the name of the member you wish to hide.

22  Coding Community / Coding Snippets / Change Info Center Text on: October 22, 2008, 08:58:31 pm
My first SMF code, something simple to get used to the new classes and such.
This replaces the text that says "Info Center" on the header above your stats.

Footers
Code:
<script>
//Change Info Center Text

newtext = "NEW_TEXT"

var a = document.getElementsByTagName('div')
for(i=0;i<a.length;i++){
if(a[i].className == "catbg" && a[i].innerHTML.match(/Info Center/i)){
a[i].innerHTML = a[i].innerHTML.replace("Info Center",newtext);
}}
</script>
