Title: Transperancy Gradient
Post by: shimmy shabby on November 01, 2008, 09:35:43 pm
Do Your background how u want it...

Make a new layer mask(Layer < Mask < Add Layer Mask) set at White (full opacity), It should be set to that by default, but if it isn't just set it to that.

Set your FG color to black(000000) and your BG to white(ffffff)

Select your gradient tool, make sure the gradient is FG to BG(default).

Hold the ctrl key down, then mouse down anywhere along the far bottom of the image and drag a straight line towards the middle of the image... Or wherever you want it depending on how you want it to look, Then release the mouse. The ctrl key will just help you with the straight line. Then go to the layers dialog and select the preview that shows the image, and not the mask.

If you have any questions ask =)
