Title: FAQs
Post by: Agent Moose on November 07, 2008, 07:11:50 pm
Just to clear some things up, I did this little Frequently Asked Questions thread.

May I post codes that were not created by me?
Yes you may, but you must ask the person before posting their code.  You must also leave the copyright in that code.  If you remove the copyright, that is basically saying that you created the code, when you really didn't.  You will get warned/banned if you do that.

Can I ask requests in the Code Snippet board?
No.  The Code Snippets board isn't a code request board.  We do however have a code request board located here:
http://revolutionx.smfforfree3.com/index.php/board,30.0.html (http://revolutionx.smfforfree3.com/index.php/board,30.0.html)
If you do however post a request in this section of the forum, your topic will be moved to the right place.

Will new codes be posted daily?
It matters.  If I create a new code, then yes.  But not all the codes that I make will be released.
Some days, I could make two or three codes, others, I could make none.  So it depends if I can think of ideas for codes.
Every now and then I will be posting some of the codes from Simple Machine Codes onto Revolution X.

Will you release codes that were on SMC/RX?
Later on, yes.  But not all codes will be released, just because I will probably need it later on in the future, such as the code index.

Hmm...I believe that is everything.
